Dear Reader,
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Matthew, and we have been happily married for over fifteen years. I am also the mother of three fun, energetic sons: Grayden, Jessup, and Nolan. Currently, I am a full-time homemaker, a role I take very seriously. I am also completing my second year of homeschooling my boys. This season of life is full of adventure and growth. Most importantly, I am a child of God. I am deeply thankful for everything in my life and acknowledge Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
It is my hope that creating this blog will bring all women closer to their Heavenly Father through insights on Christian living.
The content of this blog will consist of…
Devotions: Through the power of storytelling, I will share personal experiences with raw vulnerability that connect real-life events to the God’s Living Word. These opportunities are often hidden in plain sight, but decoding a Bible story and understanding its relevance to modern culture can sometimes be challenging. I hope to help readers dive deeper into God's Word and apply it to daily living. Each devotion concludes with tangible takeaways and practical applications for everyday life.
Helpful Tips: Having been a wife and mom for over fifteen years, I’ve discovered routines and schedules that make life easier. As a homeschool mom and former classroom teacher, I hope to offer educational ideas that will to spark your child's love for learning!
Book Recommendations: My husband and I are avid readers, absorbing everything from the Bible to leadership and marriage books. Lately, I’ve been devouring books on hospitality. In addition to adult recommendations, I also want to share some wonderful titles for children. I’ve discovered a few hidden gems in the past two years!
If this sounds like a place for you…
Thank you.
Thank you for your time.
Thank you for allowing me to help you along life’s journey.
Hebrews 13:16 says, “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” (ESV)
Friend, I do not have much to share-a few words, insights, and recipes-but I offer them here.
Blessings,
Amy E. Smith
